If you’re eligible for the Oregon Health Plan or Healthy Kids, you won’t need a qualifying event to enroll as you will be able to enroll anytime throughout the year.
Those who are eligible for the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) can enroll year round, though they may be subject to the federal tax penalty for not having health insurance if they did not apply by April 30.
While IRS Form 8962 outlines repayment limits for excess Advance Payment of the Premium Tax Credit, please remember that if your income exceeds 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) there is no repayment cap. Please keep the following amounts for reference in 2015 and notify your agent immediately if you are receiving tax credits and you think you may exceed these amounts:
