First, although wireless devices from varying manufacturers are usually built to a standard that makes them interchangeable, this isn’t always the case.  Make certain that the devices you purchase are guaranteed to communicate seamlessly with each other.  Second, don’t forget security concerns.  Because communications between your various devices will be flying through the air, not wire, anyone who has the proper equipment can pull those signals from the air as easily as you, possibly invading your privacy or stealing sensitive data.  Ask your wireless device dealer what security is built into your new equipment, and then make sure to use it.  It’s also wise to add additional firewall software.
